Riesen Orchidee – Giant Orchild

Das ist die grösste Orchideen Art der Welt:

Wissenschaftlicher Name: (Grammatophyllum specinocu).

Diese Orchidee kann bis zu über zwei meter hoch werden. Wir werden drei von diesen riesen Orchideen bei uns in der Swiss Paradise Villa haben.

(Zur Zeit sind sie erst ca. 80 cm. hoch).

This is the largest orchid in the world.

Scientific name: (Grammatophyllum specinocu).

This orchid can grow up to over two meters in height. 

We will have 3 of them at the Swiss Paradise Villa.

 (They are now only about 80 cm high).

Diese Orchideen blühen momentan bei uns im „Garten“. Es dauert nur noch einige Wochen, dann werden auch sie ein neues zuhause haben in der Swiss Paradise Villa.

Rund um das Haus, wo wir momentan wohnen sieht es etwas überfüllt aus. Bald, wie in einer Orchideen „Farm“.

Bis wir in unsere neue Swiss Paradise Villa umziehen können werde ich diese Prachtvollen Orchideen einfach so mit euch teilen.

Wer Orchideen mag, wird sich auch an diesen Fotos erfreuen!

Diese Orchideen sind momentan am blühen.

More than just beautiful!

It’s getting crowded around the house where we live.

It looks now like an Orchid nursery.

And until we can move to our new Swiss Paradise Villa, I just have to share some of those beautiful orchids with you right here.

(Alle wilden Orchideen in diesem Video werden ein Teil meiner Orchideen Sammlung in der “Swiss Paradise Villa” sein).

Am lokalen Blumenmarkt gibt es nur ein Anbieter, der gelegentlich wilde Orchideen verkauft. Sie kommen aus dem Wald und Dschungel von Thailand, Laos und Kambodscha. Nicht viele Leute kaufen sie, wenn sie verfügbar sind. Weil, sie keine Blüten haben wenn sie verkauft werden und nicht besonders atraktiv aussehen.

Aber, wenn sie Blumen / Blüten haben!

Wow, was für eine Überraschung. Absolutely beautiful!

Zu Beginn des Videos sind einige der wilden Orchideen zu sehen, 

so wie ich sie vorbereitet habe.

Im zweiten Teil sind einige Fotos von wilden Orchideen in ihrer voller Pracht.

At the local flower market there is only one vendor who sells occasionally wild orchids. They come from the forest and jungle of Thailand, Laos and Cambodia. Not many people buy them if they are available, because when they are sold they don’t have blossoms and don’t look special.

But once they have flowers / blossoms!

 WOW, what a surprise. Absolutely beautiful!

   At the beginning of this video you will see some of the wild orchids as I prepared them.

In the second part are some pictures of wild orchids in their full glory. “Enjoy”

In Thailand arbeiten die meisten Menschen 6 Tage pro Woche.

Heute war ein Tag aus für unsere Bauarbeiter.

Etwas Zeit für mich um mehr Orchideen vorzubereiten für die neue Swiss
Paradies-Villa. Nächste Woche werde ich eine Dia-Show veröffentlichen. 
(Meine Orchideen). 
Ca. 60 - 80 Arten. Einige der gleichen Familie, aber in verschiedenen Farben.

In Thailand most people work 6 days a week, 1 day off.

Today was a day off for our construction workers.Time
out for me to prepare some more orchids for the new Swiss Paradise Villa. Next
week I will post a slide show.  (My orchids). (Approximately 60 – 80 species, some of the same family but of different colors.

I bought this orchid some months ago (without flowers).  

Since two days we enjoy the magnificent blooms.

Diese Orchidee habe ich vor Monaten (ohne Blüten) gekauft. 

Seit zwei tagen genießen wir die Blütenpracht.
